About: John brings over 44 years of experience in all areas of public accounting practice. He specializes in accounting, assurance and business advisory services for owner managed private enterprises, entrepreneurs, as well as those in the not-for-profit sector. Education: John obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at York University in 1978. He trained with H.R. Doane and Company (now Grant Thornton) and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1981. John joined Gilmore & Company in 1982 and became a partner a few years after. Personal Life: John has built his reputation upon always being there for his clients, providing the highest quality service with a personal touch, truly understanding his clients and speaking to them in a language they understand. John is involved with outside activities including old-timers hockey, tennis and jogging. He is married, living in Etobicoke and has two grown children (son and daughter).
