About: Alexander obtained his B.Econ from the Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019 and passed the CFE in 2020 with the chosen depth in Assurance.

He joined the company in May of 2024 and is currently pursing his CPA designation.

Personal life: Alexander enjoys spending time outside work with his family and friends. An outgoing person, you can find him on the lake kayaking or riding his bicycle around his neighbourhood.

About: David has over 5 years of accounting experience spanning from full-cycle to fund valuation and AUM. Prior to joining Gilmore & Company LLP David held financial roles in a mid-sized real estate investment company.

Education: David obtained his BA from the University of Waterloo in 2019 and passed the CFE in 2021 with depth in taxation. He joined Gilmore & Company LLP in January of 2024 and is currently pursuing CPA designation with plans for further professional development.

Personal life: David enjoys various hobbies such as chess, hiking, and climbing. You can find him at the gym or out and about riding his motorcycle.

About: Ishita brings experience in public accounting, including accounting, assurance, personal and corporate tax.

Education: Ishita joined Gilmore and Company LLP as a co-op student in 2020 and began working full-time in 2023 after graduating from Brock University Goodman School of Business with Bachelor of Accounting (Honors) and Master of Accountancy degrees. Ishita is currently working towards obtaining her CPA designation.

Personal Life: Outside of work, Ishita enjoys painting, reading, and travelling with friends and family.

About:

After graduating Esther worked at small firms in Niagara Falls and Newmarket, before transitioning to Gilmore & Company and brings years of experience in personal and corporate tax.

Education:

Esther graduated from Brock University Goodman School of Business with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree and passed the CFE in November 2022. Esther is currently working towards obtaining her CPA designation.

Personal Life:

When Esther is not at work she enjoys travelling, listening to music, swimming, reading, and exploring new restaurants in the city.

About:

Jaspreet graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2023 and is currently working towards obtaining her CPA designation. While at Brock, she completed her co-op terms at a mid-sized firm in Niagara before joining Gilmore & Company LLP in 2023.

Personal Life:

Outside of work, Jaspreet enjoys trying new restaurants in the GTA, hiking, and going out with friends and family!

About: Derek obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Audit, Accounting & IT from Conestoga College. He joined Gilmore & Company LLP in July of 2022 and is currently pursuing his CPA designation.

Personal Life: Derek enjoys spending his free time reading, playing board games with friends and visiting family in the Niagara region.

About: Jake graduated from McMaster University with an Honours in Bachelor of Commerce in 2021. He then obtained his Diploma in Accountancy from McMaster University in 2021. Jake joined Gilmore & Company LLP in January of 2022 and is currently working towards obtaining his CPA.

Personal Life: Jake resides in Toronto where he likes to stay active by playing sports such as golf and hockey. He enjoys taking advantage of living in the city by going to concerts and shows as well as trying new restaurants.

About:

James began his accounting studies in 2020 and joined Gilmore & Company LLP in 2021. He is currently working toward obtaining his CPA Designation. He previously graduated from Dalhousie University with an Honours in Marine Biology in 2012 and later went on to complete the writing of his Masters of Science thesis in 2015 at the University of Windsor, GLIER. This thesis focused on Lake Ontario food webs – particularly on salmon and trout.

Personal Life:

Outside of working for Gilmore & Company LLP, James enjoys watersport activities including slalom and barefoot skiing, and SCUBA diving. You can find James spending his time at the cottage with family and friends, as well as taking care of his French bulldog “Jaws.” James is also a numismatist who enjoys collecting rare Canadian and world coinage.

About: Brandon brings years of experience in all areas of public accounting. He specializes in accounting, assurance, personal and corporate tax, and other business advisory services.

Education: Brandon graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in accounting with a minor in marketing. Brandon joined Gilmore & Company LLP and began working full-time in 2018. He obtained his CPA designation in 2021.

Personal Life: Brandon resides in the GTA. When not working, Brandon can be found staying active by working on his golf game or playing sports such as hockey and basketball. Brandon enjoys listening to music and podcasts, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and keeping up with all major sports leagues.

About: Marion brings over 35 years of experience being with Gilmore & Company LLP. Marion graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) with an accounting minor. She has built many lasting relationships with clients over the years. Clients know they can contact her directly with their questions, knowing that she understands their business and is always available to help.
